LISPY In-depth Studies

This program builds upon LISPY’s 200- hour foundational teacher training and includes over 100 hours of additional training to develop our teachers’ clinical and teaching skills as well as in-depth knowledge for working with groups and individuals using PY methods. 

Each workshop will consist of three weeknight sessions running 6-9pm at Lifeologie located at 3303 Lee Parkway Suite 330. Courses will be taught by lead trainers Laura Abbott-Coan and Noel Baker alongside guest teachers from the clinical community. 

Prerequisites: completion of or concurrent enrollment in LISPY 200 Hr Foundations of Psychotherapeutic Yoga Teacher Training

Advanced Neurobiology

We will dive into an understanding of what exactly trauma is and it’s effect on not oly our mental health, but the physical and emotional body as well. Learn how to safely engage students with body and breathwork as a coping skill for trauma recovery.

Join us for a journey into the world of psychotherapeutic yoga as applied to these three clinical arenas. Many students identify with one or more of these clinical symptoms and Yoga is a brilliant tool to create change and freedom!

Going deep into the breath as an art and science is the focus of this weekend. Learn specific techniques to elicit balance and transformation in your students, as well as a foundation in using breath centric asana to promote health on all levels- mind, body, and soul.
